India's horror show on Day 1 of the Bengaluru Test saw Rohit Sharma lash out at Sarfaraz Khan for being out of position while fielding. New Zealand bowlers, led by Tim Southee, wreaked havoc, bowling India out for their lowest home-Test total.

After a washout on the opening day, the toss finally happened in the first Test between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru on Thursday, which saw the home team's captain Rohit Sharma winning it and deciding to bat in overcast conditions.

It was a forgetful day at the M. Chinnaswamy for the Indian team as they were bundled out for 46 runs versus New Zealand in the first Test in Bengaluru on Thursday. India captain Rohit Sharma was disappointed and that was evident as the cameras panned a number of times towards the dressing-room.

Rohit Sharma said that Virat Kohli took the responsibility of batting at No.3 in the Bengaluru Test. Kohli scored a nine-ball duck before William O'Rourke accounted for his wicket.

During the opening Test match between India and New Zealand in Bengaluru on October 17, captain Rohit Sharma was clearly upset and was also spotted yelling at teammate Sarfaraz Khan for being out of position while fielding.
