The rumors are true, the Destiny franchise is heading to mobile devices soon. Destiny: Rising is a new free-to-play mobile sci-fi RPG shooter that includes a number of playable hero characters, a shared world, and PvE and PvP modes all set in Bungie’s Destiny universe.

The Destiny franchise is finally heading to the mobile platform with Destiny: Rising. After the official announcement, which gave us a sneak peek at how the game will play out, many players are hyped to learn more about it.

NetEase Games announced today that it is developing a free-to-play mobile RPG called Destiny: Rising, set in the same universe as Bungie’s first-person shooter franchise. Bungie itself has licensed the Destiny brand to NetEase,

In an official announcement, NetEase describes Destiny: Rising as a "new epic free-to-play mobile sci-fi RPG shooter" with a variety of playable heroes, a "shared world", and several game modes. It'll offer both first-person and third-person shooter gameplay.

The mobile title will offer singleplayer, 6-player strikes, and PvP modes and will enter closed alpha test this November.

Back in 2018 news surfaced about NetEase wanting to have a non-Destiny game developed by Bungie for around $100 Million, followed by a leak in September of this year hinting towards a possible Destiny mobile game.
